The Chordettes Remixed (& Zombieland)

Jess was showing me the trailer for Whip It and in it I briefly heard this quirky remix of Lollipop by the Chordettes (not the Lil Wayne version!). So I spent about 15min tracking it down. Turns out it’s actually on the movie’s soundtrack, however, that song is only available to buy with the entire album and I already have half the songs on the soundtrack. Eventually I found it on a blog (never fails). And in my search I found the same DJs (Squeak E Clean & Desert Eagles) had remixed Mr. Sandman in a similar fashion. If you’ve ever enjoyed 50s doo-wop you’ll find these really fun. Both are pretty short so give them a listen.

Also, see Zombieland. It was a blast. The beautiful opening slow-motion scenes were enough to have my vote, but the rest of the movie does an excellent job taking the zombie genre in an original direction. Lots of laughs and action and blood and gore.
